Seeds of Life is a passionate, community-based initiative that focuses on empowering young women aging out of the Florida Foster Care System and women experiencing domestic violence, abuse or neglect. We are a 501(c)3 public charity that works with and provides services for diverse communities. We seek to empower women through fellowship, education, mentorship and practical solutions; in an effort to break the pattern of domestic violence and abuse within our community and beyond.
The Seeds of Life Foundation story begins in 2011, with one woman befriending another who was suffering physical abuse by her spouse. That human connection inspired our Founder, Mariam Delgado, a woman of fierce determination; to help women reach their maximum potential through uplifting messages, unconventional wisdom and practical development of their natural talents and abilities.
The Seeds of Life Foundation was founded to EMPOWER women to take brave steps towards healthy relationships and self-value, guiding them to excel through education, mentorship and resources; developing their character and skills, and believing with them for a brighter tomorrow. The Seeds of Life Foundation Programs are designed to empower women in every stage of their process of restoration, encouraging and celebrating each of their milestones as they develop confidence to be the women they were created to be.
We offer educational, emotional and spiritual resources, and we are blessed to have the support of multiple partners who assist with temporary and transitional housing as well as health & wellness care; providing women with a holistic approach to healing and ultimate transformation.
